Class Reunion
Peanut did a Wonderful job on putting together a slide show.
Lunch was Very YUMMY, Mr. Foster was Proud of how well his Biscuits turned out this time. However, he had a right to be, they was yummy. (And I normally do not like Baking powder biscuits). After the great lunch we had, As if there was room, we as served the best peach cobbler with Ice cream ever.
We had a couple teachers attend the reunion; Mr. Ellingson, I asked him if he remember the Glue in the shoe Incidence, He laughed and said yes, and Mr. Horrocks stopped by for a hour or so.
My Sister told me we had alot better class reunion than she did, Hers was boring compared to ours. YA BABY. We still kick behinds, Also, Class of "86" bragged about their turnout, they said all but five people attend, In my opinion, We had just as great a turnout.

WOW! That was great.
Speaking only for myself. That was one of funnest weekends I have had in a long time! Thank you all for being part of it. I hope you all had as much fun as I did. For the people who were not able to make it, you really missed something great. The food was fantastic, and the company was one of a kind. The float for the parade was very "original". I would love to have your feedback on what you thought, good or bad. You can email, call, or just respond on the blog. We had about $30 left over from the proceeds. If you all don't mind I would like to give this to Peanut to help offset his costs of putting together the presentation.
Stan (Peanut) has created a photobucket account for our class. We can all upload our pictures of the reunion and share them.

Greetings to the Duchesne High School class of 1987
20 Years, wow! It sure don't seem like it has been that long. I have not seen or heard from anyone since graduation night.
Until Fay called my parents and that got the ball rolling.
These are my little ones
We live in Grantsville, Utah
I was a sub teacher for 9 years then became a C N A.
At this time I am a stay at home mom
enjoying my girls and all their activities.
They are both in High school.
Lori is involved with the FFA, judging & agriculture.
She really loves to rope and ride. A real cowgirl.
She also squeezes time in for her job.
Jamie is involved with drama & loves to play volleyball.
She loves to keep us all laughing.
And has a sense of humor that is second to none.
As a family we enjoy ridding, rodeos, camping, fishing. And of course all my flowers
Our biggest passion is restoring old cars.
The girls are each doing 1957 ford fairlanes right now.
I have been given the task of a 1953 Buick special (any suggestions welcome)
We love to travel every chance we get.
We try to make it back up to Duchesne at least twice a year. My older sister still lives up there. The memories come back.
I really have enjoyed getting back in touch with everyone and hope to be able to make it to the reunion but that is up in the air right now

Tessie

I have been married to my wonderful husband, Bill, for 15 years. We live in Payson Utah. We like it here. It is small but growing. We will probably spend the rest of our lives here. We both still have family out in the Basin so we return to visit occasionally. But the longer we are here the more Payson feels like home.
We are the parents of 3 beautiful children. Our oldest daughter, Camille is 11 going on 25. She is out to conquer the world. She already knows everything and isn’t afraid to tell you that she does. Our next daughter is Careasa. She just turned eight. She is the peace maker of the family,
she will gladly give up the last piece of candy or a toy just to make the other child happy. If the world were full of people like Careasa it would be a much better place. Caiden is our little guy.
He is five, soon to be six. He says the cutest things. He keeps us laughing all of the time.
He wants to be just like his Daddy.
I have spent the past years being a stay at home mom taking care of my family. I love
being a mom. It keeps me busy taking the kids to all of their activities. They are involved in
softball, baseball, piano, orchestra, track, soccer, basketball and their varied church activities, just to name a few. It seems like the list never ends. People tell me I should limit how many activities they can participate in, but I remember that being involved probably kept me out of a lot of trouble when I was younger. Besides I like to watch them play. I do require that they keep their grades up in order to participate. At our house a "B" on the report card stands for "Below The Mark" They are smart kids and we expect them to show it. As long as they keep their grades up I will keep driving them around to their many activities.
Caiden, my baby, starts kindergarten this fall. I went back to school last summer to renew my teaching certificate. This fall I will be teaching 6th grade at Barnett Elementary. I feel really blessed to be teaching there because it is the school where my kids attend. I’m excited to teach. I am a little nervous, and a lot busy preparing my lesson plans and my classroom. The summer is slipping by fast.
I also spend a lot of time fulfilling my church calling. I am currently serving as the
Primary president in my ward. We have a lot of children in our ward. It is a busy calling but I am enjoying it.
I am happy. Life has been good to me. I look forward to seeing you all in August.
Love, Tessie

Brian & Roxanne Ringel Clark
I have been married now for going on 19 years to Brian Clark, we have 4 children my oldest Michael is 16 (soon to be 17). McKaylee is 13, Michelle is 12 and Matthew is 8 (yes they all begin with M, I do not know how that happened). We have been living in the Heber Valley now for the last 5 years and we just love it here.
I work part time for a small company here doing all the bookkeeping, office managing and anything else they throw at me. I also manage 5 other small companies for the CEO on of which is an airpark located out in the Fruitland area. Some of the other things that keep me busy besides my kids are; I still play volleyball, I donate my time to the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life, I am the PTA Treasurer, church callings and I work part time for my husbands business. Brian keeps telling me I have a problem saying NO, hence I get myself in a lot of trouble and sometimes go crazy with all the running around that I do. My children also contribute to the many hours I spend running around by being active in drama, power tumbling, dance, baseball, soccer, basketball, and piano to name a few.
I am excited for our reunion and look forward to attending in August.

Todd, Amy & Natalie Nielsen

Hello everyone. Peanut has been pestering me to post to this blog and so here it is.
When I left Duchesne I spent a long time working in construction operating heavy equipment. About 6 years ago, I joined up with a couple of guys and we have an excavating company that so far manages to pay the bills.
I met my wife, Amy in 1995 and we got married in 2000. She is from California. Our daughter Natalie just barely turned 3.
We currently live in Bountiful where Amy stays home with Natalie.
Hope this covers what I'm supposed to write. See you all soon.
