A few pictures to jog your memories

I found a few pictures of Duchesne and the lake to help you remember and help get your kids excited about the place you once called home.

What! No pictures of anyone jumping off the bridge into the lake?! Where's the water tank and D-Hill?

When I first moved to Duchesne and was trying to get my geography straight, I once referred to The Lake as "Starvation Reservoir" while I was talking to Tom. He got a disgusted look on his face, shook his head, and said "Don't call it that. It's The Lake." (Or something to that effect.)

Thanks for the photo of Cowan's Cafe. My mother was a cook there for many years. I used to love going there after school for fries and a Coke.

My aunt worked as a bartender across the street at The Commercial Club. I remember when The Charlie Daniel's Band came in for a drink because one of their buses had broken down. That was way cool.

Ah, memories!

Stan, Where can I find one of those T-Shirts with that saying on it?? I had never heard of that tag-line before. Funny.
